Kulübümüzü tanıtacağımız, yapacağımız etkinliklerimizin içeriğini programını paylaşacağımız ve etkinliklerimizin en güzel parçası olacak sizlerle tanışacağımız bu toplantıda görüşmek üzere sağlıcakla kalın.

Prof. Emre Balık was born in 1973 in Gaziantep. After finishing high school in 1991 Gaziantep Anatolian High School, he graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1997. He did general surgery residency in Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, General Surgery Department. He finished his residency in 2002. He began to work in the same department in 2002 to 2010 as a research assistant.
He did his minimal invasive surgery and colorectal fellowship in Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, USA in 2004-2005. He received Associate Professor degree of surgery in April 2010. He is also board certified by European society of colo-proctology in 2013.He worked in Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine General Surgery Department 2002- 2014. He received Professor degree of surgery in 2016. He is working in VKV American Hospital and Koç University School of Medicine General Surgery Department, since August 2014.
Orhan Ağcaoğlu M. D. was born in 1984, Istanbul. He graduated from Yeditepe University School of Medicine in 2008. He finished his General Surgery Residency at Istanbul University Istanbul School of Medicine in 2014. In 2011, he worked at Cleveland Clinic, Department of General Surgery, Division of Endocrine Surgery and Robotics as a Research Fellow for one year.
Dr. Agcaoglu has more than 50 papers that published in International peer-reviewed journals. Having passed the exam and completed the requirements of the European Board of Endocrine Surgery (Neck Endocrine), he has been acknowledged as a “Fellow” of the European Board in 2017. His surgical interests include; breast surgery (oncoplastic and breast conserving techniques), endocrine surgery (minimally invasive and robotic, thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal surgery), and Laparoscopic and robotic groin hernia surgery. He has been working at Koç University Hospital since April 2016.
Onur Bayram, M. D. was born in 1981 in Istanbul. After finishing his high school in Cağaloğlu Anatolian Gymnasium in 1999, he graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul (Çapa) Faculty of Medicine in 2006. He was at Bonn University General Surgery Clinic, Bonn, Germany for his surgery internship in 2004. He finished his general surgery residency in Istanbul University Istanbul (Çapa) Faculty of Medicine in 2014.
In 2014 he made an observership in Department of Colorectal Surgery, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Cornell University, NY, USA. He completed his compulsory state medical service in Mus State Hospital between 2014 and 2016. He is working in Koc University School of Medicine Hospital General Surgery Clinic since February 2016.
Prof. Dr. Selahattin ÖZMEN was born in Kızıltepe in 1971. He graduated from Hacettepe University School of Medicine as third ranking medical doctor, in 1995. He completed his residency at Gazi University School of Medicine, Department of Plastic Surgery in 2002.
He has been awarded with TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) grant and worked at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Department of Plastic Surgery, Ohio, USA between years 2002-2003. There he worked on advanced microsurgery, stem cells, face and extremity transplantations, ischemia-reperfusion injury and on quantitative sensory neural testing of the diabetic patients. He has 6 international awards from the studies he attended. He won EURAPS Young Scholarship Award and worked at the Sahlgrenska Akademin, Department of Plastic Surgery in Gothenburg, Sweden on the craniofacial surgery topic. Dr. Özmen won first prize of USA PSEF in the research area in 2006. In 2007, Dr. Özmen got Certified Wound Expert ICW certificate in Germany. Dr Özmen has got 8 international and 11 national awards up to date. Prof. Özmen is an international faculty of AO CMF since the year 2011. He led the team that performed the third facial transplantation of Turkey (First 3D and first woman-to-woman face transplantation in Turkey) in Gazi University. He is a member of Composite Tissue Transplantation Council of The Health Ministry, as well. He received the title of Assistant Professor in 2004, Associate Professor in 2007 and Professor in 2013 at the Gazi University. He got the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon title and Hand Surgeon title in 2013. Prof. Dr. Özmen has been working at VKV Healthcare Institutions since 2013.
Dr. Sedat Tatar M.D. was born in 1983 in Malatya. He graduated from Malatya Science High School in 2001. He graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2008. He competed his residency in Plastic,Reconstrucitve and Aesthetic Surgery at Gazi University Medical School in January 2015.
He worked in Kayseri Research and Traninig hospital between 2015 and 2017. Having passed the exam and completed the requirements of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, he has been acknowledged as a “Fellow” of the European Board. He has been working at the Koç University Hospital since April 2017.
Prof. Dr. Çağatay Taşkıran was born in Mersin in 1974. He graduated from Hacettepe University, School of Medicine and finished his residency in Ob&Gyn at the same institution in 2002. In 2002-2003, he was appointed as a faculty member. In 2003-2011, he worked at Gynecologic Oncology Department at Gazi University, School of Medicine.
In 2007, he was appointed as an associate faculty member. In 2008, he worked at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York City, USA. In 2011, he received his certificate for Gynecologic Oncology and since then he has been working in VKV Healthcare Institutes and been a full time professor of Ob&Gyn at Koc University School of Medicine.
is currently a professor of Urology at KOÇ UNIVERSITY, School of Medicine, graduated from HACETTEPE UNIVERSITY, School of Medicine in 1985. pursued his Urology residency at the same institution and finished in 1992. In 1994, he was a visiting clinical fellow at MAYO CLINIC. Between 1996 and 1994, he worked as an urooncology fellow at University of TEXAS MD ANDERSON CANCER CENTER.
In 1999 he was appointed as an associate professor and in 2008, he became a full professor.
